HS Studio is a producing and strategic studio working across contemporary art, performance and culture. Founded by Holly Shuttleworth, the studio develops ambitious projects with artists, institutions and organisations, bringing together artistic thinking, producing expertise and long-term strategy.
Drawing on experience with Serpentine, Factory International, Frieze Projects, Whitworth Art Gallery and Sadler’s Wells, HS Studio works across commissions, exhibitions, performance, public programmes and artist development. Recent collaborators include David Hockney, Suzanne Lacy, Alex Baczynski-Jenkins, Rory Pilgrim, Eric Cantona and Juan Mata.
Alongside producing projects, we support artists and organisations to build sustainable ways of working, from partnerships, IP and studio structures to access support, team dynamics and collaborative models. The approach is relational and practical, translating complex ideas into structures that allow ambitious work to grow.
